With COVID-19 keeping us all isolated, we have moved our services fully online. We will be posting our services on Facebook and YouTube Sundays at 10 AM, followed by a live Q & A session to discuss the sermon right after.
We would like to know how we can better serve you as a church. Please fill out a quick survey to let us know: https://forms.gle/Yc9EsyiAZA15dCZE7
A Quick Update on Catalyst Services:
As Minnesota continues to transition out of “stay-at-home” and into a time of “stay safe,” church leadership is hard at work deciding how we can safely move forward.
First, know that the ways we connect online will continue to operate into the summer.ne will continue to operate as usual into the summer. Worship services will have a digital option to keep involvement high and people safe. Beginning August 2nd, we will also be holding in-person outdoor services at Saint Anthony Village Central Park at 10 AM. Gatherings are limited to 75 people maximum, so please let us know you plan on attending in advance. You can do so on Facebook, or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Second, if you do choose to meet with others, we encourage you to observe Governor Walz’s order and keep it to groups of 10 or less. If you gather, we recommend taking wise precautions: gather outside, have hand sanitizer available, keep 6ft of social distance, and consider using masks. See these precautions as a way to serve and care for one another (Matthew 25:40).
If you would like to host a Sunday service watch party, please consider watching with neighbors or family members who have no church family! Allow this season to be a missional opportunity and watch what God does. Leadership also plans on creating discussion questions to help you dig deeper into the sermon content.
Make sure to check our social media account and enews often, as we have seen during this season plans can change quickly.
Take some time today to pray for one of the dear sisters or brothers you miss seeing in person, and know we miss seeing you! Christ is with us, unites us, and the Holy Spirit indwells us and holds us all together even while physically separated.
Join us this Sunday as we start a new series on the book of Nehemiah!
As another school year approaches, our friends over at Ace in the City are holding their annual Back2School backpack drive. This year they are asking for $40 donations to purchase backpacks and school supplies. If you would like to donate, follow the link here: https://aceinthecity.org/donate/
Ace’s backpack distribution event is set for Saturday, August 15th, so please donate before then!
Join us for our second week of outdoor services as we continue through Nehemiah! RSVP on Facebook to let us know you plan on coming!
We are still offering our online services as well. If you have any questions or concerns, send us an email at email@example.com.
If you do plan on coming, here are the guidelines for the service as part of our rental agreement with the city:
1) Please wear a mask. Bring one with you from home, but we will have a few backups near our greeting area.
2) We have a waiver/release form to be filled out by everyone joining us in-person. You can find that form here: https://forms.gle/VHbdaWVf1VbChCpp9, otherwise we will have a QR code for quick access Sunday morning.
3) Bring a chair or blanket to sit on during the service. We will be following social distancing guidelines for seating.
We look forward to worshiping with you outside!
Don’t forget to sign-up for our outdoor trivia night this Saturday! Kati Sloan is emceeing the night. We are looking for at least 10 participants (for two teams of five) to go ahead with the event, so please RSVP by Friday. If you have any questions, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to see you there!
As we begin holding outdoor services, we want to celebrate with a picnic after church! Bring your own lunch to Lake Johanna park on Sunday, August 16 after service ends. We will be meeting near the beach/playground area. Please RSVP on Facebook to let us know you plan on coming. As always, if you have any questions send us an email at email@example.com.
